Delola McCracken, 76, a resident of Cleveland, passed away on Tuesday afternoon at the family residence.

Delola was the daughter of the late Maurine Neighbors Hinkle and Floyd Hinkle. Her sister-in-law, Judy McCracken and her brother in law, Lloyd Green also preceded her in death.

Delola was a 1959 graduate of Cullman High School in Cullman, Alabama. She worked as a secretary with Duncan Electric with 25 years of service. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, working in her vegetable and flower gardens, woodworking and Traveling. If she did not have a blue print or pattern to what she was making, she would make the blue print or pattern herself. There was nothing she couldn't make! Most of all, she loved spending time with her family! She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother! Delola loved her church and she was a member of the First Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband of 41 years, Glenn McCracken of Cleveland, her daughters, June Wooden and her husband Patrick of Georgetown, Delena Savee and her husband Mike of Johnson City, Tn., her grandchildren, Ashley Wooden, Evan Wooden, Olivia Savee, Emily Wooden and Kade Savee, her sisters, Mavle Green of Sheffield Lake, Ohio, Betty Eidson and her husband Byron of Cleveland, Rebecca Goggans and her husband Greg of Huntsville, Al., her brother, Roger Hinkle and his wife Jo of Elyria, Ohio, her mother-in-law, June McCracken, her brother-in-law, Eddie McCracken both of Cleveland and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

The Remembrance of Life Service will be conducted on Friday, Jan. 19, at 3 p.m. at the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services North Ocoee Chapel with Reverend Patrick Wooden and Evan Wooden officiating. Interment will follow in the Sunset Memorial Gardens with Eddie McCracken, Harold Smith, Tony Mattace, Mike Savee, Jim Bryant, Stan Smith, Evan Wooden and Kade Savee serving as casket bearers.

The family request that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made in Delola's name to the First Baptist Manna Ministry, C/O First Baptist Church, 1275 Stuart Road N. E. Cleveland, Tennessee 37312. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday at the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services North Ocoee Chapel who has charge of the arrangements.
