Jimmie Lee Sanders Disheroon, 88, passed away on January 12, 2018.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Jennie Sanders, father, Theo Sanders; sisters, Luevina Rollins and Elvina Johnson Morrison.
Survivors include her husband of 69 years, Preston Disheroon; son, Gary Disheroon; daughter, Gwen Disheroon; sister, Glenna Layne. Jimmie leaves many nieces and nephews. She was especially close to Rhonda Lowrance and Stuart Layne, and cousins, Ruth Golston and Greg Picarillo.
Jimmie was a member of the Palmer Baptist Church and attended the Lupton Drive Baptist Church for 50 years.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 17, in the chapel of Lane Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 12-2 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will follow at Chattanooga Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Jimmie’s favorite charity, St. Jude’s Research Hospital for Children.
