Evelyn “Nanny” Shull, 90, of Harrison, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, January 15, 2018.
She was a lifelong resident of the Harrison area.
She was the daughter of the late John L. and Lillie Ellis Lynn and was also preceded in death by her husband, John “Red” Shull; son Gary and four sisters and six brothers.
She is survived by her son, Donald (Connie) Shull; daughters, Alice (Jim) Ratliffe and Brenda Phillips; sister, Vieva Griffey; grandchildren, John (Angie) Phillips, Allen Phillips, Kim Foster, Jayson Jones, Casey and Matthew Shull; great-grandchildren, Hailey, Shelbey, Presley Phillips, Jacob and Josh Foster, Eli Shull and Mason Jones; several nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to express their thanks to the staff of Life Care of Collegedale for the care of their mother.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday in the Valley View Chapel with the Reverend Kenneth McElhaney officiating. Interment will be in Harrison Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday at the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist, 7414 Old Lee Highway.
