Family Dollar Announces Renovated Store Grand Opening In Chattanooga

Family Dollar Stores, Inc. has announced plans for a renovated store opening in Chattanooga.
 
“Family Dollar continues to grow and we are thrilled to be able better serve our customers in this improved store format,” said Heather Briganti, Family Dollar spokesperson. “We are proud to be part of Chattanooga and are looking forward to continuing our relationship with the community.”
 
The store opens to the public next Thursday, followed by a grand opening celebration for the community on Saturday, Sept.
16. The grand opening will include giveaways and prizes, including a Coby Bluetooth Speaker and a drone. In addition, on Saturday the 16th, the first 50 customers will receive a Family Dollar gift card. 
 
"Family Dollar stores are open seven days a week and offer everyday items for the entire family in an easy-to-shop neighborhood location," officials said. The store is located at 4749 Hwy. 58.

The County School Board on Thursday night passed a resolution saying it would not sell three schools at Signal Mountain if it chooses to break away and form its own school district.
