Grace Pippin finished fourth overall Saturday morning to lead the Baylor Lady Red Raiders to the overall team championship in the McCallie Invitational cross country race at Moccasin Bend.
While Pippin had a time of 20:13, teammate Emrick Garrett was eighth in 20:31 while Janie Pippenger was 13th in 21:03.
The rest of the Baylor girls included Sydney Cansler in 22nd with a time of 21:39, Merrit Newton 24th in 21:44, Caroline Barker 38th in 23:45 and Hannah Rosser 42nd in 24:11.
While Baylor was in first place with 69 points, Harpeth Hall was second with 84.
GPS was fifth while Chattanooga Christian was 12th.
In the boys race, McCallie's Walton Beddell and Samual Ligon finished 7th and 8th respectively to lead the Blue Tornado to the team championship.
Home school runners Jonathan Boyd and Chase Faudi finished first and second
CCS finished 4th led by Edimo Ninteretse's fourth place finish.
