Billie Jo Brackett, 67, a resident of Old Fort, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, September 21, 2017.
Billie loved to travel and see new sights. She also always enjoyed watching her beloved Tennessee Vols play football. If you knew Billie, you knew that she loved life, as her personality radiated through her. She will be dearly missed by all those that knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Willard and Tudy Roberts; and her siblings, Charlotte Hendrickson, Jeanette Gettings, Harley Roberts, and Wayne Roberts.
Billie leaves behind to cherish her memory, her loving husband, Harold Brackett; children, Johnny Sizemore (Blondie), Ginger Phillips, Pam Smith, and Julie Fitzgerald (Kevin); step-son, Justin Brackett; siblings, Linda Jones (Jim) and Jerry Roberts; numerous grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; as well a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 26, at Companion Funeral Home, at 2419 Georgetown Road NW, Cleveland, TN, 37311.
A celebration of life funeral service will follow the visitation, starting at 12 p.m. in the chapel of Companion Funeral Home, with Pastor Jim Jones officiating the service.
The family will hold a private graveside service at Chattanooga National Cemetery following the service.
