A crazy play in the Covenant volleyball team's 3-1 victory over Maryville on Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2017 made its way on to ESPN Sports Center's Top 10 Plays on Friday, Sept. 22, 2017.

In the play that occurred late in the fourth set, Covenant's Hannah Harris had her attack dug by Maryville's Allison Botts, but the ball sailed high and through the basketball hoop inside Barnes PE Center. The play was called dead and the point had to be replayed. Covenant would go on to win the match a few points later.

The clip made its way on to social media late Wednesday night and then got several thousand views on Twitter by Thursday afternoon. The play was shared by the NCAA Volleyball official account on Twitter, and then NCAA Division III on the same social media platform. ESPN picked up the play late Thursday afternoon and ran it through consideration for Sports Center's Top 10 Plays segment.

It is the first time that a Covenant athletic program has been featured on the Worldwide Leader's flagship program.
