Josephine Swaggerty
Josephine Swaggerty, 86, a resident of Cleveland, passed away on Monday, Sept. 18, at the family residence.
She was the daughter of the late Walter and Gennie Craig Shields and was also preceded in death by her husband Clyde Swaggerty, her daughter Brenda Swaggerty and her son in law Gary Wilson.
Mrs. Swaggerty was an avid gardener loving to grow flowers and she also loved to sew.
Survivors include her daughters, Phyllis Cross and her husband Dean, Pam Wilson, of Cleveland, her son, Jr. Swaggerty and his wife, Faye of Ocoee, six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A Remembrance of Life Service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 21, at Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services Wildwood Avenue Chapel with Reverend Sam Randolph officiating.
The interment will follow in the Red Hill Cemetery on Straw Hill Road.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the funeral home.
