Daniel Edward Moore is an acclaimed poet who lives in Seattle, Wa. His poems have been published in journals such as: The Spoon River Poetry Review, Rattle, and Columbia Journal. Recently, Mr. Moore was chosen by Washington Poet Laureate Tod Marshall to be published in WA 129, an anthology of the best poets in Washington state.
His newest collection of poems Confessions of a Pentecostal Buddhist explores his intense struggle with his Christian upbringing and finding his current peace through poetry and Buddhism. The show will feature poems from this collection and present his inspiring and heartfelt journey towards finding serenity in this world.
A Q&A with Mr. Moore about his work will follow the performance.
Tickets are $10 for general admission and $5 for college students
Copies of Confessions of a Pentecostal Buddhist will be on sale for $10, and there will be time after the show for Mr. Moore to sign any purchased copies.
