The Tennessee Faith and Justice Alliance, the Gospel Justice Initiative, the Christian Legal Society, the Legal Aid Society of Middle Tennessee and the Cumberlands, and the Tennessee Alliance for Legal Services invite the public to attend a free Faith Leader Legal Resource Training.
Learn how to better recognize and respond to urgent legal issues by using one easy tool to connect people in your faith body and community with free quality legal resources they need.
The event will be on Friday, Sept. 22, from 1–3 p.m. at White Oak United Methodist Church,
2232 Lyndon Ave., Chattanooga, Tn. 37405.
Training will include: an overview of free and trusted legal resources; basic legal issue spotting for faith leaders, and a special “Legal Wellness CheckUp” training for faith leaders by attorney, Kristen Jacobson, of the Tennessee Alliance for Legal Services. The Legal Wellness Check-Up is a newly developed, simple tool that utilizes innovative technology to identify legal issues and connect people to free legal resources, personalized to specific needs of that person and their location in Tennessee.
