Benitez Williams, 35, Shot On Dodson Avenue On Tuesday Night

Benitez Williams, 35, was shot on Dodson Avenue on Tuesday night.
 
At 8:09 p.m., the Chattanooga Police Department responded to a person shot reported on the 900 block of  Dodson Avenue.
 
Officers first went to a local hospital concerning reports of a person shot. Police were able to speak to the victim who had arrived at the hospital via a personally owned vehicle.
 
The victim's injuries are considered non-life threatening at this time.
 
Members of the Violent Crimes Bureau are actively investigating this incident. If you have any information, contact the Chattanooga Police Department. You can remain anonymous.
