Sarah Cannon Cancer Institute At Parkridge Medical Center To Host October Low-Cost Mammogram Screenings And Education

In October, Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Sarah Cannon Cancer Institute at Parkridge Medical Center will host an informative open house to allow women the opportunity to get a low-cost mammogram screening as well as obtain important information regarding breast health and medical options.  For more information or to register, call 423-495-1865.

Cost: $5

 

Learn about women’s breast health with surgeon Laura Witherspoon, MD, self-exam education and information and other preventative and care options in this ultra-low-cost open house event. Space is limited, so registration is required.

 

*Must be over 40 (Photo ID required)

*Must not be currently experiencing any symptoms or breast irregularities

*A primary care provider is required for follow up to the screening

Tony Williams, 26, Shot On Dodson Avenue Late Sunday Night

Tony Williams, 26, was shot late Sunday night on Dodson Avenue. Chattanooga Police responded at 11:50 p.m.,  to the 900 block of Dodson Avenue on a shooting.   Upon arrival, police located the victim who was suffering from a non-life threatening gunshot wound.
