Leslie Stepp
Leslie N. Stepp, 101, of Cleveland, passed away on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at a local health care facility.
He was a veteran of the United States Army and served during World War II in Guadalcanal. He was a retired dairy farmer. Mr. Stepp was a lifelong Republican and a charter member of the Taylors Ruritan Club. He was a member of Kinser Church of God.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Finnell Stepp; parents, George Lewis Stepp and Roxie Burnett Stepp; sisters, Mary Eva Stepp and Elavee Phillips; and brothers, Braska Stepp, Jasper Stepp and George Stepp.
Survivors include his son, Joe Stepp and wife, Phoebe of Cleveland; two grandchildren, Brandon Stepp and wife, Valerie of Cleveland and Theba Hamilton and husband, David of Tellico Plains; four great grandchildren, Cheyenne Hamilton, Bryer Hamilton, Anna Jean Stepp and Emma Jo Stepp; one sister, Emma Lee Carroll; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be conducted at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 24, in the chapel of Fike-Randolph & Son Funeral Home with Pastor Guinn Green officiating. Interment will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 25, in Union Grove Church of Christ Cemetery with Brandon Stepp, David Hamilton, Bryer Hamilton, Robbie Stepp, Ray Stepp and Roger Stepp serving as pallbearers.
His family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home prior to the service.
