Erlanger Officials Report 1 LIFE FORCE Flight, 3 Motor Vehicle Accident Patients, And 7 Babies Born During Eclipse Event

Between the hours of 1 p.m. and 4 p.m., LIFE FORCE conducted one flight at 2:28 p.m.

There were no changes to the flight operations of that transport during the eclipse.  Currently there have only been three patients who presented to Erlanger Health System emergency departments due to motor vehicle accidents from trying to view the eclipse while driving. 

At this time, Erlanger has not had any patients presenting to the EDs for eye injuries, heat related or sun exposure illnesses. 

A total of seven babies were born at Erlanger East and Baroness Hospitals. Four were born at East and three were born at Baroness. 

Along with the LIFE FORCE flight, one baby was born at 2:28 p.m.

Two other babies were born at 2:27 p.m. and 2:37 p.m.
