Coalmont Acquires 1,319 Acres For Southern Gulf Off Road Park

 The Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation, the city of Coalmont and The Conservation Fund will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony onMonday to announce a key property acquisition for the city of Coalmont’s Southern Gulf Off Road Park. 

 

The work began in 2014 to pursue land acquisition for the Coalmont Southern Gulf Off Road Park.

 

On June 27,Coalmont Mayor Preston Miller signed the property acquisition documents placing 1,319 acres of property within the ownership of the city of Coalmont.

 

The purchase was facilitated by The Conservation Fund, who assisted in acquiring specific parcels on behalf of the city of Coalmont.
