Robert “Buzz” Charles Leopold, 70, of Aurora, Colorado, passed away on June 15, 2017.

He was born on Oct. 16, 1946, in Emory, Ga., the son of Robert and Frances (McClure) Leopold. He graduated from The Baylor School in 1964 and attended the College of Charleston, and the University of South Carolina. He was a Chief Warrant Officer in the Army serving two tours in Vietnam as a helicopter pilot.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert S. and Frances E. Leopold.

Robert is survived by his son, the Rev. Dr. Robert K. (Lisa) Leopold; two sisters, Judy (Charles) Roberts and Mary Frances Leopold; and many other relatives and friends.

An Episcopal graveside service will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, July 28, at Chattanooga's National Cemetery followed by full military honors.
