Upcoming TN Reconnect Information Sessions Offered On ChattState Main Campus

  • Thursday, July 20, 2017

When Governor Bill Haslam signed The Tennessee Reconnect Act, it eliminated barriers experienced by adults who want to attend college, but are unable to due to financial constraints. This Act establishes a last-dollar scholarship for adults to attend a community college tuition-free.

With this extension of the Drive to 55, which comes at no additional cost to taxpayers, every Tennessean will have the opportunity to enter or re-enter public higher education institutions with no tuition expenses.

Chattanooga State Community College plans to hold three TN Reconnect Information Sessions in the Omniplex building, rooms 124/126 on the Main Campus at 4501 Amnicola Hwy. No reservations are required.

The sessions will be Saturday from 5:30-7:30 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 5, from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. and Tuesday, Aug. 8, from 5:30-7:30 p.m.
