3rd Annual New Chattanooga Community Expo And Wilcox Parade Is July 29

  • Wednesday, July 19, 2017

The Tenesha Irvin Show will present the 3rd Annual New Chattanooga Community Expo at the Avondale Youth and Family Development Center on Saturday, July 29, from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. This is a free community event that includes a vendor expo, kids fun zone, inspirational speakers, an old school car show, basketball 3-point shootout, games, door prizes, free food and more.

The essence of The New Chattanooga Community Expo is to connect businesses, organizations, churches and municipalities with neighbors living within the Avondale Community in a fun, informative and family friendly environment reminiscent of a family reunion. Organizers believe in the future of Avondale and aim to assist in connecting the community to information and resources.

"All information does not freely flow to all communities within the beautiful city of Chattanooga and this is especially true for people living within Avondale," said Ms. Irvin.  "So we are bringing the information to the people because we further believe that access equals success."

This community event will provide an opportunity for vendors, volunteers and sponsors to gain or expand visibility in the community, participate in a community event and connect with existing and (potential) new customers and clients.

This year's sponsors include Roots Hair & Beauty, Fast Stop Gas Stations, Little Caesar’s Pizza, SmartBank and Chattanooga Cares.  Community partners are the city of Chattanooga, CARTA, Williams Outdoor Advertising and Fairway Outdoor.

To participate as a vendor, volunteer or sponsor for the 3rd Annual New Chattanooga Community Expo, call Ms. Irvin at 544-7910 or send her an email at newchattexpo@gmail.com.

Ms. Irvin is the creator and host of her own talk radio program, The Tenesha Irvin Show, which airs Sundays at 4:30 p.m. on Brewer Media’s Groove 93.5 FM and live on Facebook/TeneshaIrvin.
