Habitat For Humanity Celebrates Homeownership Month By Hosting 2 Home Dedication Ceremonies

  • Tuesday, June 6, 2017

June is nationally recognized as Homeownership Month and Habitat for Humanity of Greater Chattanooga Area plans to celebrate this month by hosting two home dedication ceremonies on Saturday

Two women, surrounded by their children, family, friends, and supporters will be presented with the mock keys to their three-bedroom, two-bathroom homes.

This special dedication marks the completion of the Habitat community located on Taylor Street.
With the support of the City of Chattanooga, the Department of Economic & Community Development, The Community Foundation, Signature Brokers, Publix Super Markets Charities, and Hamico Inc., four Habitat homes were built over the past 12 months on this quiet street located in Chattanooga’s Historic Glass Farm Neighborhood.
