Developer Buys Kmart Site On Highway 153 For $5 Million

A Chattanooga developer has bought the site of the former Kmart on Highway 153 for $5 million.

The sale was to Issa LLC. Developer Bassam Issa has carried out a number of local projects - mainly in the East Brainerd area.

The Kmart at 5380 Highway 153 closed last fall.

It is near a Lowe's and a Home Depot.
