Johnson, Kenneth "Mule" William (LaFayette)
Kenneth "Mule" William Johnson, 76, of LaFayette, passed away on Thursday, June 22, 2017, surrounded by his loving family.
Kenneth was born in Chatsworth, Ga., on March 1, 1941, to the Will A. and Thelma Ingle Johnson. He was their first son of nine children. He was an avid golfer whether it was playing or just watching it. He was of the Baptist faith. Kenneth had a heart of gold always willing to help anyone in need.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Marvin Johnson and grandson, Robert Lee (Bubba) Cochran, Jr.
Survivors are his loving children, Regina Cochran and Randall “Homer” Johnson, both of Summerville, Ga. He was the big brother of his sisters, Mary Elizabeth Powell of Summerville, Ga., and Cathy (Roger) Bradley of LaFayette; brothers, Bobby (Linda) Johnson of Chickamauga, Ga., Doug (Maribeth) Johnson of Calhoun, Ga., and Mike Johnson of Whitwell, Tn.; grandson, Charles Cochran of Summerville, Ga.; four great-grandsons; a very special aunt, Ruby Ingle of Chatsworth, Ga.; and several nieces and nephews and cousins also survive.
Funeral service will be at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, June 27, in the Wilbanks Memorial Chapel.
Interment in LaFayette Memory Gardens.
Visitation at the funeral home Tuesday from 11 a.m. until time of service.
