Gary Stanfield
Gary Stanfield, of LaFayette, passed away at his home Thursday, June 22, 2017 at the age of 66.
He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Air Force and served in Vietnam. Gary retired from Syntec Industries.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gus Stanfield and Frances Bledsoe Stanfield; and sister, JoAnn Lagesse.
He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Linda Stanfield of LaFayette; daughter, Kimberly (Dennis) Elliott of Rocky Face, Ga; son, Jeff (Angie) Stanfield of LaFayette; grandchildren, Nicholas (Karissa) Painter, Haley Painter, Krista Stanfield, Arielle (Daniel) Byer; great grandchildren, Braxton, Lydia, Falyn, Creed, and Elahn; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be private.
Family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday, June 25, from 1-3 p.m.
Arrangements are by Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home, LaFayette.
