Henry "Charlie" Wallace Hawthorne, 76, of Rock Spring, passed away on Monday, June 19, 2017.
He was a member of Church of Christ of Chickamauga and a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Linda Bates Hawthorne of Rock Spring; daughter, Crystal (Mark) Hawthorne Buffington of Noble, Ga.; son, Andy (Dee) Hawthorne of Dayton, Tn.; grandchildren, Ceanna Asher, Kalie Asher, Culley Hawthorne, David Hawthorne; great-grandchild, Marshall Eli Gross; sister, Thelma Clark; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, June 21, at LaFayette Memory Gardens with Minister Shane Robinson officiating.
Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, from 1:30–3:30 p.m.
