Daniel Boone Stoker, Jr., 68, of Chickamauga, passed away on Sunday, June 18, 2017.
He was a lifelong resident of Chickamauga and was of the Christian faith. Danny served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and retired from Walker County Board of Education as a teacher and coach of football, track, golf and tennis for Chattanooga Valley High School and Chattanooga Valley Middle School. Danny was a loving father, grandfather, brother and uncle, who will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 44 years, Janice Sparks Stoker and father, Daniel Boone Stoker, Sr.
Danny is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Cliff and Calli Stoker, Rodney and Kimberly Stoker and David and Heather Stoker; mother, Ruth L. Kellogg Stoker; brothers, Jerry Stoker and Kenny Stoker; six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
