Carter, Albert (Mill Creek)

Albert Carter, age 92, of the Mill Creek Community, passed away on Saturday, June 17, 2017 at Hamilton Medical Center.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Flonnie Carter; two daughters, Ingrid Morrison and Debbie Chastain; and two sons, William “Buddy” Carter and Johnny Lawson.

He was a WWII veteran of the United States Navy.

He is survived by his three daughters and son-in-law, Faye and Randy Stafford of Crandall, Brenda Sharp and Sandra Gray, both of Rocky Face; sister, Thelma Foster of Eton, six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

The funeral service to honor the life of Albert Carter will be held Tuesday, June 20, at 11 a.m. at the Rocky Face Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Clifford Chambers officiating.        

Burial will be in Lindsey Memorial Church Cemetery.        

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 5-8 p.m.
