Marilyn Forrester
Marilyn “Rita” Forrester, 65, of Ooltewah, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, May 26, 2017, in a local hospital.
She was a native of Chattanooga and was of the Church of God faith.
Rita was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Phyllis Hicks, four brothers and three sisters.
Survivors include her three children, Donnie Ray (Tracy) Forrester, of Ooltewah, Randall “Cotton” Lee (Crystal) Forrester, of Rossville, Karen (Curtis) Randolph, of Ooltewah, six grandchildren, one step grandson, nine great-grandchildren, two sisters, Delores Cartwright, of Chattanooga, Kathleen (Carl Melvin) Knight, of Ringgold, Eddie Lamar (Sheila) Hicks, of Harrison, and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, May 28, in the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends from 1–3 p.m. on Sunday, May 28, at the funeral home.
