Problems With The Hotel On Lookout Mountain

  • Monday, May 15, 2017

In response to this proposed plan to build a hotel on Lookout Mountain, how do they propose this without increased property taxes for all of Walker County?

Thanks to the former sole commissioner, we are already overtaxed and bankrupt.  Unless someone can really show me the great deal that this will be for our area, I need some more information.

To me, one failed attempt is already a sign that we are not ready for this nor do the people of Walker County (in this area) want it.  Increased traffic on already poorly maintained roads, higher property taxes, etc., the poor working man up here is already worked to death.

What more does our county want from us?
