George Drywater, Jr., 65, of Dalton, Georgia, passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at Hamilton Medical Center.
Survivors include his loving wife of 44 years, Kathy Drywater of Dalton; mother, Harriet Lee of Ft. Worth, TX; two daughters and a son-in-law, Shannon and Michael Thurman of Dalton and Stacy Drywater of Knoxville, TN; son and daughter-in-law, David and Dana Hughes of Maryville, TN; sister and brother-in-law, Julia and Kevin Sanders of Sacramento, CA; two brothers, Otho Lee of Knoxville, TN and Ricky Lee of Ft. Worth, TX; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Kerry and Ron Doughty of Lenoir City, TN, Karen and Troy Smith of Royce City, TX; and nine grandchildren, Dasan, Dustin, Draven, Dalton, Dillon, Camryn, Alexis, Devon and Conner.
The funeral service will be held Thursday, April 27, at 4 p.m. at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. John Bagley officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 2-4 p.m.
