White, Mary Sue (Cleveland)

Mary Sue White, 74, of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away Monday, April 24, 2017 in a local hospital.
 
Mrs. White was preceded in death by her mother, Lula Mae Goode Towns.
 
Mrs. White attended Bradley Central High School and she worked at Central Drugs, Cole's Drugs and Magic Chef for many years. She retired from Dr. Agit Kimkar office as his receptionist with many years of service. She Volunteered for many years with the March of Dimes and she received awards recognizing her for her work with the organization. She enjoyed shopping, talking on the phone but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Mrs. White was a long time member of the Bethel Baptist Tabernacle.

Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Clyde White of Cleveland; her daughter, Sherrie White (Mark Lindner); her son, Michael White and his wife Whitney all of Cleveland; her grandchildren, Emily and Carson White; her sister, Patsy Parks of Cleveland; her brother, Glen Towns and his wife Cathy of Charleston, TN; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The Remembrance of Life Service will be conducted Thursday, April 27, at 3 p.m. from the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services Wildwood Chapel with Reverend Floyd Boggess officiating. Interment will follow in the Hilcrest Memorial Gardens with Jerry Johnson Jr., Randy Miller, Rickey White, Steven Hanning, Mark Youngblood, Scott Boggess, Jimmy Yoder and Jason Towns serving as casket bearers.
 
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the March of Dimes Organization, 1401 Williams Street, Chattanooga, Tennessee 37408.
 
The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, April 26 at the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services Wildwood Chapel who has charge of the arrangements.
