Moon Pie Celebrates 100th Birthday During Chattanooga Market's Opening Weekend

Signifying the onset of spring, the Chattanooga Market will reopen for its 17th season this weekend on Saturday, April 29 and Sunday, April 30.
This season, patrons will enjoy some additions to the events schedule, an abundance of new producer-only vendors and an impressive line-up of entertainment.     

                             
Another Chattanooga favorite will be throwing abirthday party during Opening Weekend on April 29-30 at the First Tennessee Pavilion. MoonPie, the locally born and nationally loved treat, will celebrate it’s 100th birthday in grand style. 

The Chattanooga Market continues to bring people together by offering the freshest foods, cultural arts and live entertainment; making it a Sunday tradition for locals and tourists alike. The Market features farm fresh produce, meats, cheeses and artisan foods, as well as local arts & crafts such as photography, canvas art, sculpture, jewelry, soaps and many other handmade products.  Patrons enjoy weekly themed events such as the popular Beast Feast BBQ®, FiveStar Food Fight, the Cast Iron Cook-off and Chattanooga Oktoberfest®.
