Donald “Donnie” Byers Jr, 57, of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, April 21, 2017.
He was a devoted husband and loving father. He loved tinkering with little things. He loved his church, making people smile, and most of all, giving to other people. Donnie will be greatly missed by all that knew him.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Patsy Byers; and brothers, Timothy Byers, Michael Byers and Rusty Byers.
He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Elizabeth “Betty” Byers; father, Donald R. Byers; children, Billy Byers (Bridgette), Traves Byers (Stacy) and Krystl McClure (Chase); grandchildren, Brayden Byers, Blake Byers, Brentley Byers, Andrew Byers, Trevor Byers, Matthew Byers, Izabella McClure and Dakota McClure; sisters, Ronitta Lynn, Jeanette Barker and Rhonda Paskell; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
A celebration of life service is planned for 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 29, at the Maranatha Baptist Church, located at 453 Blue Springs Lane SE, Cleveland, TN 37311, with Pastor Robert Nelms officiating the service.
