BYU Football Coach Kalani Sitake To Be In Chattanooga On Tuesday

Kalani Sitake, head football coach at Brigham Young University, will be in Chattanooga Tuesday. He will participate in the Chattanooga Chapter of the BYU Alumni Association annual golf tournament.  The tournament will be held at Windstone Golf Course. 

 

Anyone wishing to participate can do so by registering between 8:00-9:00 a.m. on Tuesday.

The funds raised at the golf tournament will provide scholarship money for Chattanooga area youth to attend BYU. 

 

Coach Sitake is finishing his first year as head football coach at BYU.  The team won nine games beating teams such as Michigan State and Mississippi  State.  He is the first Tongan to be named head football coach in Division I.  Coach Sitake played fullback for BYU, was the team captain, and a scholar athlete.  

 

He will speak on Faith and Football on Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the LDS Church at 3067 Ooltewah-Ringgold Road.  Visitors are welcome.
