River Gallery May Exhibit Features Works Of Gafill And Heckler

  • Thursday, April 20, 2017

The River Gallery May exhibit will feature the works of Erin Gafill and Dennis Heckler.  There will be an opening reception with the artists on Friday, May 5, from 6:30-8 p.m.

Review for the exhibit:

River Gallery's May exhibit displays a lush array of color and brush strokes.  Erin Gafill's deeply rooted influence from her family inspires her work in Big Sur, California. When Ms. Gafill is not spending her time as a champion of the arts, she uses broad strokes of color to bring her poetry to view.

Dennis Heckler has a life-long passion for art tracing all the way back to his days in pre-school. Mr. Heckler now seeks to bring every day places into view through lighting, color, thickly applied paint, and a unique perspective of making the viewer aware of their surroundings.

River Gallery is at 400 E. Second St.
