PBR’s 2nd Annual Sean Willingham Invitational To Feature Top PBR Stars And World Class Entertainment

  • Monday, March 27, 2017

The stars will shine brightly in Chattanooga on April 21 and 22 for the 2nd Annual Sean Willingham Invitational, brought to you by Monster Energy and Circle K.   Two-time PBR World Champion, and arguably the most prolific athlete in western sports history, will join 2016 PBR World Champion, Cooper Davis, and a long list of other top PBR stars including Chase Outlaw, ranked number 3 in the world.  Top ten bull riders, Mason Lowe and Stormy Wing and other stars will also compete to help light up the weekend for the event which is in its second year and now a part of the PBR’s elite Real Time Pain Relief Velocity Tour.

Country music star Colt Ford will make an appearance at the event on Friday, April 21.  Fans will have the opportunity to meet Mr. Ford during intermission when he joins event namesake and PBR star in his own right, Sean Willingham, to take photos and sign autographs.

Additionally, the 2nd Annual Sean Willingham Invitational will be giving back to the community this year.  During PBR week in Chattanooga, Crockett Powersports presents the 1st Annual “Cowboys and Heroes Patriot Ride” motorcycle ride on Thursday, April 20.  The ride will honor United States military service men and women, veterans, police, and fire department members.

All motorcycle clubs, motorcycle fans and riders, service men and women, veterans, police, and fire fighters are invited to participate.  The ride will begin at 5 p.m. at Crockett Powersports and culminate at Spare Time Entertainment where, following an event special presentation to Chattanooga’s heroes, participants and fans will have the opportunity to mix and mingle and participate in contests with the stars of the night.  There is no fee to participate, but a suggested donation of $20 per person will be collected and given to Chattanooga’s Forgotten Child Fund in honor of the city’s heroes.

“We are working hard to bring a premier event to Chattanooga that both caters to the fans and contributes to the city,” said Sean Willingham, event producer and namesake.  “The talent is world class in both the bull riders and the bulls.  Fans are going to feel like they’ve been treated with the best PBR has to offer,” he said.  “We also have great partners this year that are helping to make this possible and bring the very best for the fans and the city.”

Event partners this year include Monster Energy, Circle K, Boot Barn, Crockett Powersports, YETI, and Juice Plus. Other partners will be announced soon.

Tickets for the 2nd Annual Sean Willingham, set for  Invitational, set for McKenzie Arena, start at $15 and can be purchased at www.Tickettracks.com or the Arena box office.  The action begins at 7:30 p.m. both Friday and Saturday nights.

This event is part of the PBR’s elite Real Time Pain Relief Velocity Tour, which offers both PBR stars and up-and-coming bull riders a chance to compete and earn money throughout the season, on their way to achieve their goal of winning PBR’s World Champion title.
