Betty Hilliard Bailey, 88, of Chattanooga, passed away on Thursday, March 23, 2017, in a local health care facility.

She was the daughter of the late Clarence Donaldson Hilliard and Anna Beatrice Smith and one of 13 children. She was a member of St. Luke United Methodist Church and a volunteer at Changed Lives for 20 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren Edwin (Bud) Bailey; her parents and two sons, John Charles Bailey and Dan Warren Bailey.

Survivors include her sons,  Mark (Robin) Bailey, Joey (Katie) Bailey and Robert Bailey; siblings, C.D. Hilliard and Jeanette Hilliard Fults; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. 

Graveside services will be held at the Chattanooga National Cemetery at 10 a.m. on Monday, March 27.

Visitation will be 3-6 p.m. on Sunday, March 26, at the funeral home.
