Bryan College Announces Fall Athletic Honor Roll

The Bryan College Athletics Department announced the 2016 Fall Athletic Honor Roll, honoring Lion student-athletes who have recorded a cumulative grade-point average of 3.3 or above.

In all, 80 Lions made the cut for the inaugural honor roll.

Of the honorees, the Men’s Soccer Team registered the most with 16 total players achieving the mark, which is over 50 percent of the team. The Baseball Team followed with 12 and Women’s Basketball with 11. The Women’s Track & Field Team had the highest percentage of players accomplish the feat with 75 percent making it onto the list.
Next was Women’s Basketball who had 55 percent earn recognition.

A total of eight programs recorded cumulative grade-point averages over 3.0, while Women’s Track & Field, Women’s Basketball, Women’s Soccer, and Men’s Soccer all produced G.P.A’s over 3.3 with Women’s Track & Field leading the way with a team grade-point average of 3.48.

As a department, Bryan garnered a cumulative G.P.A of 3.10 with five Lions attaining a perfect 4.0.
