Darla Ferrell
Darla M. Russell Ferrell, 50, passed away on Sunday, February 19, 2017.
She was employed as a nurse at the Chattanooga Kidney Center on Highway 58. She was of Baptist faith and a member of Rose of Sharon.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Carla Y. Russell and grandmother, Wilma M. Russell.
Survivors include her children, Ebony Ferrell and Deric Poole, both of Chattanooga, and Daral Boykin of Atlanta; mother, Shannon Westmoreland; father, William M. Russell; brothers, W. Micah Russell, Kibwe Parks, all of Chattanooga; Anthony Davis, Phoenix; sisters, Regina Cousin, Atlanta; Shirley Russell, Chattanooga; Veronica Russell, Murfreesboro; three grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 25, at Olivet Baptist Church with Reverend Charles Moore officiating. Interment will be in Forest Hills Cemetery.
The body will lie in state after noon on Friday, Feb. 24, and the family will receive friends from 7–8 p.m. at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Ave., 622-9995.
