The Boyd Buchanan School Football program is receiving the new Riddell SpeedFlex helmets thanks to Benchmark Physical Therapy.
“Benchmark Physical Therapy has been a vital part of the continuing enhancements to Boyd Buchanan Athletics," said Carter Cardwell, head coach for Boyd Buchanan High School Football. “Their financial support and partnership gives us the opportunity to use funds for top quality helmets as well as to enhance and improve other aspects of our athletic program.”
The partnership between Boyd Buchanan School and Benchmark Physical Therapy was first formed by Keith Myers and David van Eaton of Benchmark Physical Therapy and Jason Robertson, MD of Center For Sports Medicine & Orthopaedics.
Dr. Robertson is also the team physician for Boyd Buchanan School.
The new helmets are set to arrive in May, in time for spring practice before the 2017-2018 regular football season.
“The Riddell SpeedFlex helmet introduces many technical features that are new to the field and designed to enhance player performance and protection,” said Mark Howard of Riddell, Inc.
