Society Of Work Prepares To Add 18 Small Offices At The Edney Innovation Center

  • Monday, February 20, 2017
A year after first moving to Floor Six of the Edney Innovation Center, Society of Work, Chattanooga’s original membership based coworking space, will be expanding to Floor Seven. This 18 office expansion is a turn key solution for small and mid-sized teams providing assets such as high speed wifi, and access to conference rooms. "The six-month office lease and $250 deposit is an easy, low risk next step for businesses who are ready to to build their client base, expand their network and grow their bottom line," officials said.

Kelly Fitzgerald, owner and founder of SOW, said,“Our space expansion is a reflection of the growth of our members and their businesses.
As our space grows, so does opportunity for our members. Our community is built around collaboration and connections and our members’ accelerated business growth demonstrates how effective working together is.”

According to a recent member survey, 30 percent of members hired new employees in 2016; over 80 percent had professional collaborations with other members and 75 percent of those people didn’t know each other before they joined SOW.

Member Andy Jones, founder of Roundtree Agency, works with his growing team of four in a small office. He said, “I joined with an idea that has evolved into a successful business. Our network and credibility has expanded quickly working alongside the talented members of Society of Work.”

Society of Work provides shared business amenities that include: high speed wifi, conference rooms, mailing address, and a kitchen. "Society provides business essentials allowing companies to focus on what they do best," officials said.
