I have voted in nearly all local and national elections. This one was no exception though I did like Gary and Bill but they could not get much traction with the voters. That's Gary Johnson and Bill Weld.
My daughter's new beau was in Bill Weld classes when both attended Harvard. Bill Weld, fine guy, daughter's guy told me. The voters, though, chose a most unproven leader for the country and we all are witnessing kinda of a free form of governing.
Rex Tillerson, CEO, Exxon, travels in Europe, unable to really discuss policy with European leadership and instead, talk was not productive. Trump, ever the bombastic, seems to suck all the oxygen out of the room and his aides in the field have to "wing it."
Dangerous for the world when such confusion is so in the news and the leader so many voted for seems more intent on congratulating himself than is the country he is elected to lead. The GOP, silent mostly, maybe as I, holding our collective breathing hoping for steady and considered leadership from this man more intent on scoring points for ego.
Folks, I pray a lot for this country.

You speak of unproven leaders of our country; specifically the elected POTUS Donald Trump. Unconventional, probably; but not part of the insane political ideology of the Washington bureaucracy.
The United States does not need your prayers. The record of our country has proven that prior leaders were the problem, not the solution. From the onset of undeclared war on native Indians by stealing their land and forcing them to reservations; slavery and the resultant Civil War; countless black eyes in our history that I could continue with including the assassination of JFK and MLK by our own government (see NOVA documentaries including 9/11 and Bush's war ).
No one has patted themselves on the back more than Hussein Obama and the Clintons. The real issue with the POTUS elect is that he is constantly under attack by the Radical Left Wing Democrats and the corrupt left media with false reporting on issues that Hussein Obama was let to slide and side step.
The POTUS inherited one huge mess; pray for him to prove our government can be trusted. And who cares about "Rex Tillerson, CEO, Exxon, travels in Europe, unable to really discuss policy with European leadership and instead, talk was not productive." What about the Exxon Valdez oil spill?
Europe is and has always been the world's nemesis. The USA either saved countries or kicked countries into submission. They have opened the gates to floods of immigrants from the Middle East. We are just trying to vet them (that means look into their background).
