Barbara Jean Thomas Boston, 70, of Whitwell, Tennessee, passed away Friday, February 17, 2017.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Alvin Simmons; second husband, James Hoyt Boston; and father, James Bee Thomas.
She was a member of Valley View Baptist Church.
She is survived by two children, April (James) Sellers and Nathan Simmons both of Sequatchie Mountain; mother, Lillian Thomas; sisters, Faye Powell and Linda (Gordon) Miller; brothers, Robert Dean (Robin) Thomas, Paul (Sheila) Thomas and James Mike Thomas; two grandchildren, James “Jake” (Lexi) Sellers and Brett Sellers; and great-granddaughter, Jolene Sellers.
Family will receive friends from 12-3 p.m. on Sunday, February 19.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, February 19, in the funeral home chapel with interment to follow at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens in Jasper.
Whitwell Memorial Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.
