Leave 7th Street Alone

  • Saturday, December 9, 2017
Hello Fellow Condonoogans,

Condos? That's "Rich People Projects" right?

Leave 7th Street alone please.

I travel it daily and get blocked by delivery trucks.
On a one-way, two-lane street. Not an issue for me because I accept it. However, making it a two-way will not solve anything with traffic issues. It will only increase them.

Have you ever had someone tell you, "If you move your couch to the other side of your living room you would have more space there."

How much money does the city want to pay for new signage, red lights, and the structure to do so?

One other point - If 7th is changed it will create even more daily problems with all the trucks that are trying to get into the Tivoli loading dock, blocking even more traffic.

I see workers trying to stop traffic to get those trucks into the venue, and they are not treated very well by motorists. They are threatened and nearly hit by cars.

What's next - skate board lanes?

All Best,

James Durham
