Charlie Kyle, Jr., 95, passed away on Sunday, December 17, 2017 in Chattanooga. 

He was born March 30, 1922, to the late Charlie Kyle, Sr. and Hattie Mackey Kyle, in Lafayette, Al.
He was a World War II and Korean War veteran, he was employed with Muller Co. for 42 years, and served as a deacon of Rose of Sharon Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, son, daughter, and a host of siblings.

He is survived by his wife, Jannie Kyle; daughters; Velda, Ruby, and Shawna Kyle, all of Chattanooga, Pamela Houston, Arlington, TX, Angela Hyatte, Louisville, KY; son, Noel Williams, Chattanooga; sister, Macie Waller, Buffalo, NY; seven grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives, and friends.
 
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 21, at Rose of Sharon Baptist Church, and the body will lie in state after noon on Wednesday, Dec. 20,th at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Ave., 622-9995.
