Mary Helen Talley Wilson, 89, of East Ridge, passed away on Friday, December 15, 2017.

Born Sept. 2, 1928, in Dalton she was a resident of Chattanooga. Mary Helen was a member of the Victory Baptist Church in Rossville. She graduated Westside High School and attended the Erlanger School of Nursing. She was married to Paul M. Wilson for 68 years. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend to her family and friends. Her smile, wisdom and kindness will be missed by all.  

She is survived by her son, Perry (Allison) Wilson; daughter Lisa (Paul) Dodson; three grandchildren, Alicia Hall, Mary Thomas and Taylor Wilson; four great-grandchildren, Alex, Elizabeth, Walker and Sarah.

The family wishes to thank the doctors and staff at Memorial Hospital for their compassion and kindness during this difficult time.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 19, at the Chattanooga National Cemetery with Reverend Damon Perry officiating.
