Charles Norman Smith, 73, of Lookout Mountain, passed away on Thursday, December 14, 2017. He was a lifelong resident of Lookout Mountain and was of the Christian faith. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, and retired in 1988 from the Chattanooga Coke and Chemical Company. Norman was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother, who will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie Warren and Mary Aline Lusk Smith.
Norman is survived by his loving wife, of 49 yrs., Charlotte Smith; children, Charlene (John) Pacenti, Christel (Jay) Smith and Jarrod (Bobbie) Smith; sisters, Brenda Little, Nelda McCullough, Debbie Jenkins, and Donna Harris; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 17, with Bro. Cecil Gravitt and Bro. Bill Gill officiating. The family will receive friends from 3-8 p.m. on Saturday and prior to the service on Sunday.
