Josh Foster

Joshua “Josh” Aaron Foster, age 23, departed this life and made the ultimate trip home, Wednesday December 13, 2017 at Erlanger Medical Center.

Josh was born June 22, 1994 in Atlanta, Ga.

Josh was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Clint and Bertie Manis, Lois Headrick and Glenn Headrick.

Josh loved life, people and the Lord. Josh never met a stranger and would always have something to say. He was a jokester, he was a prankster, but most of all, for 23 years, he brought joy to those he was around, he was their angel on earth. Josh attended Church of God of The Union Assembly. Josh was a 2013 graduate of Southeast Whitfield High School.

Josh is survived by his mom, Phyllis Manis Wood and her fiancé, Bruce Miolen; brother, Jimmy and his wife Andrea Stewart; grandparents, Pat and Erwin Manis; aunts and uncles, Rick and Vivian Manis, Deloris and Ronnie Barnett; and many cousins, friends and other family members.

Service to celebrate the life of Josh will be held Saturday, Dec. 16, at 3 p.m. from Ponders Melrose Chapel, with Reverend Lonnie Starnes and Reverend Dale Brewer officiating. Josh will be laid to rest at Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery, with family and friends serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends Saturday, Dec. 16, from 11 a.m. until the service hour of 3 p.m.

Arrangements by locally owned and operated Ponders Melrose Chapel & Dalton Crematory, Dalton, GA. (706) 226-4002
