Geneva Izona Brown, age 91, of Dalton, passed away on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at Wood Dale Nursing Home.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother, George Verlin and Radie Lou Brown; and sisters, Delona Dunn and Dorothy Mae Leonard.
She was a member of McFarland Hill Baptist Church.
She is survived by her sisters, Leona Brown and Helen Kizer, both of Dalton; nieces, Kathy Morris, Kim Stephens, Laura Casper, Debbie Leonard and Joyce White; nephews, Alan, David and Joe King, Matthew Leonard and Michael Dunn.
The funeral service to honor the life of Geneva Brown will be held Wednesday, Dec. 13, at 2 p.m. at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home. Burial will be in Whitfield Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Alan King, Robert Morris, Jacob Stephens, John Christopher King, Gary Casper and Daniel Stephens.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from noon until service time at 2 p.m.
