Wallin, Leah Hamilton (LaFayette)

Leah Hamilton Wallin, 81, of LaFayette, passed away on Friday, October 20, 2017.

Leah retired from Ronile of Georgia  in 1999 with more than 20 years of service.  She was saved and baptized in 1977 at Linwood Baptist Church where she dedicated many years to her Lord’s work.  For the last 10 years she was an active member of the Faith and Worship Center in LaFayette.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Wallin; and a grandson, Jason Lee Wallin.

She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Regina (Richard) Smith of LaFayette, Deborah (Junior) Jenkins of Soddy Daisy; sons and daughters-in-law, Ronnie (Lane) Wallin of Cartersville, and Tim (Annie) Wallin of LaFayette; sister, Helen (Toby) Young of Canton; grandchildren, Tyra Bartenfield, Lacy Mullis, Anthony Carrington, T.J. Wallin, Adam Hood, and Brittany Hood; 14 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survive.  

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 23, in the Wilbanks Memorial Chapel with Reverend C.E. Wilkey officiating. Interment will follow in the LaFayette City Cemetery.

Visitation will 4–9 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home. Arrangements are by Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home, LaFayette.
