Jessie Mae Wollard, 77, of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away on October 16, 2017.

She was born on Jan. 19, 1940, to the late Annie Ethel Yates Cross and Harrison Jacob Cross. Jessie was a lover of music, especially old Gospel music and classic Country. She was a faithful follower of Jesus and loved her church. 

In addition to her mother and father, she is preceded in death by her husband Willie Lee Smith; two sons Bobby Dale Smith and Ronnie Lee Smith; three brothers: C.L. Cross, Bob Cross, and David Cross. 

She leaves behind to cherish her memory five children: Charlotte and Stan Ruff of Homosassa, FL, Gary Smith of Cleveland, Karen and Tom Feeney of Homosassa, FL, Robin and Bambi Smith of Cleveland, and Sheila Smith of Ocala, FL; thirteen grandchildren: Scotty, Cody, Tracey, Mike, Brandon, Rachel, Thomas, Jessica, Kayla, Will, Jessica Nelson, Chris, and Nichelle; brothers and sisters: Alice and Clyde Lamb of FL, Irean Brannon of TN, Wilma Mansfield of FL, Louise Comp of FL, and Herbie and Kenneth Cross of FL. In addition to these she leaves behind fifteen great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members and friends. 

The family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 20, at Companion Funeral Home at 2419 Georgetown Rd. NW, Cleveland, Tn. A celebration of life service will be held at 7 p.m. following the visitation with Reverend Clint Ledford officiating.
