Frances Elizabeth Cunningham Turley, 87 of Chattanooga, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, Oct. 16, 2017. She had lived in the Chattanooga area for most of her life and was a member of Canaan Baptist Church. She enjoyed playing Bingo and spending time with her family and friends. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, who will be truly missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bewie Turley and brother, Walter Vaden Marcus.
Survivors include her children and spouses, Rosemary (Jerry) Mahan of North Georgia, Gene Turley, Benny (Diane) Turley and Bewie Lamar Turley; sister, Anna June Westmoreland, all of Chattanooga; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 19, 2017 in the Greenwood Cemetery with Rev. Joe Gill officiating. The family will receive friends after 4 p.m. on Wednesday and prior to leaving for the graveside service on Thursday.
